Imagine living a life without burdens, barriers, the hassles and hardens of everyday living. Imagine living in a perfect world, having reasonable financial security, unchanging love and admiration from people, no brain storming and no pressure from day to day life. such kind of life resemble more like an otherworldly dream,a rosy picture in the pages of fairytale books..more like a life we have in our deepest dreams..
On the other hand picture a life with barriers, burdens of everyday living. Visualize living in an imperfect world,yet with hopes, dreams, promises, achievement and work to fulfill the needs of everyday life. Thinking, brainstorming,improving, adjusting to situations. This is what is called "life". The beauty of life is it's unpredictability, ambiguity,uncertainty. it's nothing but an adventurous expedition
In life difficult situations and barriers are inevitable. Hard to believe anyone leading a perfect life as above. But we humans have the nature of complaining, for any difficult circumstance we face we complain,accuse of life. Ask ourselves "why me?", grieve, lose hope. we all expect life itself should offer endless opportunities and fulfillment of dreams. Deep inside we think we deserve our fare share of living life comfortably without difficult situations in the limited time.
we keep saying its nothing but fate. Although think of those small babies being killed, murdered. small children being beaten, can we engulf the pain in their heart for one second. what about others who suffer in silence without their fault, what about those in Palestine's, about many others who have no opportunity for education,deaf, blind people, can we feel the pain of their heart.. How unfair is life? but with everything in life we say our life is fate? how selfish can we be? we learn to blame life? we accuse life? How inhuman can we be? we are never thankful? we are never satisfied? how cruel we are?
It is not the fate which makes some people happier, more fulfilled and more successful than others. life is in our hand, we have the control of life, we are responsible of what we do to our life.If it happens without our fault yet we are responsible of our life..
Its not only you, even i asked my self "why me?", yet i learned through difficult situations. I figure out ways rather than complaining of tracing out my faults and improvements i need to bring in life. In whatever situation i promised myself never to do anything wrong in life. Faith and hope guided me in life.
what ever situation in life have faith and don't lose hope, patience is the key, Don't dramatize life, and don't assume future and immediately jump into conclusions, don't stress about it, figure out ways that makes you happy, plan, organize, learn to accept faults and practice ways to improve self. love yourself, stop in front of the mirror and think for once, the very existence and perfectness of your being. yes "God is great". Successful life is for those who seek it, not to those who destroy it.

ReplyDeleteI noticed a 'complaining' tone all through this post, although you repeatedly said life is not about asking 'why me' and complaining. May be, its only me.
ReplyDeleteNo life is perfect, yet, it all matters is considering/thinking our lives as a perfect one, though it is the most imperfect for others.
One thing that helps me out is dreams. The dreams of future. Well, i guess its not dramatizing life or assuming life as it is. I strongly believe i cant attain a 'thing' only if i dream.

Right.. Dreaming is no problem.. i Do Dream Big.. in my point of view without dreams we cannot focus on achieving anything.. but sometimes it happens the other way round.. Dreams fail:(.. and it shakes ones confidence..at such a point when ones confidence level is weak possibility that he or she may visualize how life will be like without having tht particular dream come true..All im saying is its a HUGE MISTAKE! best thing in life is u never know future! future is unpredictable!

hmmmm....i must say.....i havent read a post this good in quite a while. ive asked myself a couple of times why people cant see life in the perspective youve described here instead of blaming life and god for all their misfortunes. we are the ones who shape our lives. one of the greatest gift god gave us is free will and choice afterall. everything has its benefits and consequences. it all comes down to how we CHOOSE to live our lives. what choices we CHOOSE to take. there's always an alternative. hmmmm, uve jes given me an idea for a post. thanx ;)
